Hi everybody! It’s time for some wild western passionate romance, the very beating heart of Nikki Sudden’s art…
This song was also re-recorded for the 1991 record “the jewel thief” by Nikki Sudden.
Time for some more post-punk!
This contemporaney band, which started releasing it’s music in 2009, is a very obscure one, their releases are for the most part tapes…in my opinion they are quite promising.
Enjoy Mirror!
First of all, don’t worry about the lack of updates! I’ve not abandoned the site nor I have the intention of doing so. I’ll continue in spreading bizarre and beautiful music and write some thoughts on the net for a long time. I’ve just slowed down a bit, but I have intention of putting again the motor at full throttle sometime soon. :)
Having said that, I’m now presenting a very nice coldwave release from the ’80s. This EP, which contains this very immersing and melancholic cover of the classic ’60s song California Dreaming and an original song (albeit very good) named Weatherman.
Enjoy some more synths from the ’80s! :D
Time for some very good Italian new wave from the early ’80s!
Neon were one of the most original and daring group of the Italian scene of their times, which was very underground and still had to blossom…
Neon released a couple of EPs and a full lenght before fading into the oblivion. In the 00’s they reformed for some shows and released a remastered version of their only full lenght, rituals.
Enjoy!
Proceeding onwards with the Hanoi-related posts…one of the best songs off Monroe’s most introspective album, peace of mind.
Enjoy!
Time for one of the best unreleased songs by Hanoi Rocks, released in the bootleg album “lean on me”.
Andy McCoy recorded a solo version of this song as well.
Time for one of the finest covers of one of the finest and heartfelt songs by Mr Cohen. This one has been recorded for the album “watcha want”, shortly after Michael’s wife death…
PS Sorry for the delay!
A very different take on one of the best songs off the Michale’s period with the Misfits.
The original (off the 1997 album American Psycho) is a very catchy up-tempo melodic punk song. Unplugged it becomes a strangely hypnotic acoustic ballad.
One of the best Sabbath cover EVER, by Mr. Zakk Wylde and his magnificent band :)
To greet 2012, I offer to your listening pleasure one of the great classics by Danzig.
Enjoy the mix of Doors, Black Sabbath, Elvis-like crooning Heavy Metal and superhuman badassery of which this song is made of :)
Happy 2013 to all of you!
