DIOS CD (PC88) has been found!
Hi guys and gals…long time no see!
I’ve found out that a title that has been sought after for a very long time, Dios CD, for the PC88 has been finally found and dumped. The rumors about it started long before I gave birth to Illusion City in the very far 2011, so it’s an exceptional find!
The game does make some strange choices in how to use CD though. Basically, game and music are loaded into RAM while the CD is used to play the voice lines from the game. A very bizarre choice, but given the early stage it was released in (1990) it does make sense, since people were still trying to figure out what to do with the possibilities given by the CD medium.
